CIDCO Metro Rail

CIDCO to concentrate on development of peripheral areas of Ambernath, Badlapur, Murbad and Kalyan in Mumbai metro region and will explore a possibility of building metro rail line between Murbad and Taloja via Ulhasnagar, said Cidco Chairman Pramod Hindurao.

Kalyan-Ahmednagar Railway Line

The Railway Ministry has undertaken a survey of around 250 kms railway line between Kalyan and Ahmednagar & work has been already started.

Mumbai's infrastructure received a major boost with the Prime Minister asking the Airports Authority of India (AAI) to award two Greenfield airports - one in Navi Mumbai and the other in Juhu. The decision came a day after the Union Cabinet cleared the Rs 23,000 crore first underground Metro line for the city that will improve connectivity between Colaba and SEEPZ in Andheri via Bandra.
